由於Instagram作為一個圖片分享社交平台,直播帶貨這一功能顯得有些默默無聞。 Instagram直播購物暫時未能成功兩個原因:


首先,Instagram作為一個圖片分享社交平台,其定位和社區氛圍的影響下,圖片和文字模式仍然是Instagram最受歡迎的。一位受訪者表示,她只會關注喜歡的博主和明星的直播,很少看品牌的直播購物,因為新品和折扣等信息都可以在日常更新的內容中看到,沒有必要專門去看直播。此外,國外的直播缺乏中國直播那種強烈的話術,通常只是簡單介紹和展示產品,因此看直播的購買欲也不強烈。


其次,Instagram的流量較為私域化。一位受訪者表示,Instagram直播通知只會推送給粉絲,未關注的用戶是不會收到直播通知的,只有自己去搜索才能看到。


不過Meta 2022年的第四季財報顯示,Reels將在今(2023)年底至2024年初實現收入平衡,影片已經不折不扣變成更多Instagram用家的需求。但在短期內,缺少廣告可能是Reels的一項優勢,將吸引一般用戶成為Reels觀眾,而去年的Reels播放量翻倍顯示了更少的廣告對用戶來說具有吸引力。
